The problem with owning a private server is that the owners need to emulate the server somehow. Not only did Toontown Online take off big-time amongst players upon its release in 2003, but the game also snapped up more than a few awards in its heyday between 20. Toontown Rewritten has now grown to over 1,900,000 registered players, with thousands of players playing at almost any given time of day. The US has some large company laws which make it much more in favor of big business, so in the US and only in the US can running your own private server be some kind of infringement. No it is not illegal to play on private servers, nor is it illegal to host a private server outside of the US. Most private servers are being run as a business, allowing players to purchase in game items and rewards by “donating” real money, rather than a fun environment for players. Most popular private server categories are World of Warcraft, MU Online, Metin2, Silkroad, MapleStory, Conquer Online and many more. Subsequently, every player was given membership for the remaining time of the game. On August 20, 2013, Disney announced that after ten years of operation, Toontown Online was being shut down permanently on September 19, 2013. Does Toontown Online still exist?Ĭlosure.

Toontown Offline is a server created to allow players to experience Toontown from a new angle through the use of commands. It features content which could be considered something Disney would do, and has minimal overhaul changes if any. Toontown Rewritten is the longest-running fan server and by far the most popular.

Throw, Squirt, Sound, and Trap (with the Cog lured onto it) Gags help increase a Drop Gag's accuracy if used in the same round.

If a Cog is lured, a Toon would have to use another damaging Gag track to revert the Cog to its original position. One major downside to using Drop Gags is that it will guarantee a miss on lured Cogs. The Grand Piano would be the only exception, working its way up from a minimum damage of 85 to a maximum damage of 170. Unlike other Gag tracks, the first five Drop Gags, excluding the last Gag, do not increase damage over time. It tends to miss when working alone, making it difficult to train however, if a Sound, Throw, Squirt, or Trap (with successful Lure) has been used in the same round, it is possible that the Cog will be stunned, increasing the probability of Drop Gags hitting the Cog. Therefore, there are a few disadvantages when using Drop Gags, but the cons are outweighed by the advantages. The Drop track uses one of the most powerful Gags and is the last Gag track used during a battle.
